About The Position

To help raise awareness and build associations with Capital One within the tech sector, the Capital One Tech marketing team is seeking a seasoned campaigns lead to build and manage large-scale integrated campaigns that position Capital One as a technology leader and build awareness and credibility with a technologist audience around topics like AI and data, cloud infrastructure and software engineering. This position is highly collaborative, and will work with stakeholders across both the technology organization and multiple communications and marketing teams in the United States and Canada. A true marketer at heart, they will create and lead Brand building strategies with a focus on developing relationships, translating value, connecting dots, and bringing our technology stories to life with credibility and authenticity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in a campaign leadership role focused on Brand awareness
  • At least 1 year of experience in international marketing
  • At least 2 years of people leadership experience

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience working on marketing campaigns in the Canada market
  • At least 2 years of marketing experience in the STEM sector OR deep knowledge of product and software engineering topics
  • Experience leading marketing campaigns targeted to technologists (For Example: software engineers, data scientists, AI researchers etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Lead technology brand strategy in international markets, with the goal of raising awareness of Capital One as a leading tech company
  • Partner with US and in-country tech stakeholders, tech communications leaders, brand strategists and talent marketing/recruitment teammates to build program level strategies that advance the goal of attracting top technology talent in key markets including Toronto, Canada
  • Set the strategy and vision for success, and lead campaign development working with an integrated team of project management, creative, social media, website, paid media, and research specialists to execute external marketing campaigns
  • Manage contracts and relationships with external agency partners for creative development from concepting to production to delivery of campaign work
  • Build and nurture relationships with in-country stakeholders at the senior level, ensuring our strategies advance our Brand in a way that meets their goals
  • Build regular, integrated reports tracking progress on our major campaign and program KPIs and share them up to the executive level
  • Bring bold, innovative ideas to the table that will associate Capital One with a leading technology company and are a fit for the market in mind
  • Ensure all campaign activity is well governed end to end
