The Manager, Team Member Resource Group Programs and Impact supports the SVP, Chief Opportunity, Belonging and Impact Officer in the governance and strategic leadership of the Team Member Resource Groups (TMRG) to ensure alignment with HMH strategic priorities in a way that is grounded in our 5Cs (creative, collaborative, courageous, connected, and compassionate) and maximizes impact. This role is key to achieve the strategic goals for TMRG growth, participation, engagement and impact. The Mgr, TMRG Programs & Impact works with executive leadership, TMRGs, team members, Care for All committees, communications/marketing, HRIS team, OBI strategic community partners and other key stakeholders to drive transformative impact of TMRGs and ensure benefits of these groups are realized. Requirements

  • Bachelor's level degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in - Human Resources or a related area.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter with expertise in OBI approaches and solutions.
  • Strong strategic leadership and project management skills.
  • Relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's level degree or equivalent.
  • Prior healthcare experience.
  • Experience with performance improvement tools.
  • Project Management Professional Certification or Process Improvement Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Advises Hackensack Meridian Health's executive team and TMRGs by providing consultation, facilitating and managing the governance of all related activities and TMRG growth/expansion.
  • Prepares and manages the budget for TMRG programs.
  • Manages bylaws and establishes and recommends policies, procedures and processes.
  • Establishes specific, measurable goals and tracks performance by implementing metrics to measure success and effectiveness and build HMH brand.
  • Plans and develops meaningful initiatives and strategies by utilizing operational decision-making related to quality and productivity standards.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of the overall TMRG initiative and specific programs/events.
  • Benchmarks TMRG best practices, develops action plans to address gaps, implements and evaluates action plans.
  • Organizes and coordinates activities, manages project interdependencies, and solves problems.
  • Partners with internal teams across HMH and strategic partners in the broader communities we serve.
  • Prepares reports for leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Establishes a culture of strong collaboration across TMRGs and the organization by facilitating effective communication/marketing, teamwork, and focusing on intersectionality.
  • Develops an innovative approach to leveraging TMRGs to address health access for all.
  • Maintains master project schedules, controls deadlines and updates on all key initiatives and approved programs.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Collaborates across the OBI team to coordinate and align TMRG support.
  • Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
  • Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies, policies and standards of behavior.
