What We’re Looking For: The Manager, Talent Development & Mobility is a critical leader responsible for building a connected, skills-focused learning ecosystem that accelerates employee development, supports career mobility, and aligns talent capabilities with business needs. This role blends learning design, talent strategy, and program operations with a unique focus on leveraging the company’s own educational content and programs to drive upskilling, reskilling, and internal career pathways. You will partner closely with HR, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to create accessible learning pathways, drive adoption of internal education offerings, and enable seamless internal movement across roles and functions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience designing and delivering scalable learning programs.
  • Experience building or managing internal mobility, career pathways, or similar talent programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, measure outcomes, and influence decisions.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including executive-level presentation.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed, or high-growth environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Background working with education products, curriculum design, or academic partnerships.
  • Familiarity with skills-based talent frameworks or competency modeling.
  • Experience implementing or administering learning systems (LMS/LXP).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a cohesive learning strategy that supports employee growth, capability building, and long-term career development.
  • Design and develop learner-centered engaging and interactive experiences for comprehensive development program(s), incorporating adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
  • Create instructional content, such as instructor lead training, eLearning modules, videos, job aids, and assessments.
  • Design and implement learning pathways for core roles, leadership development, functional skills, and future-skills readiness.
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of talent programs, from needs analysis, curriculum development to delivery, and measurement of impact.
  • Leverage 2U/ edX content, certificates, and degree programs to create structured upskilling and reskilling opportunities.
  • Partner with functional leaders to assess capability gaps and design learning solutions aligned to business priorities.
  • Ensure all learning programs are accessible, scalable, and measurable.
  • Lead strategy and programs that support internal mobility, including career frameworks, skills profiles, and mobility pathways.
  • Build tools and resources to help employees navigate career growth and identify new opportunities inside the company.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and HRBPs to develop mobility policies, guidelines, and processes that support equitable internal movement.
  • Analyze internal mobility trends and identify systemic barriers or opportunities to improve access and adoption.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and strategic thought partner for customized strategies and initiatives for enhancing leadership and team impact, resulting in the development and execution of new leader assimilations, team alignments, strategy planning sessions, action planning, etc.
  • Partner with Change Management and HRBP teams to ensure smooth execution of organizational changes.
  • Support organizational change initiatives by developing and delivering enablement programs that ensure leaders and employees are prepared for new structures, processes, and ways of working.
  • Communicate recommendations, implications, and change impacts with clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
  • Serve as a consultative partner to HR Business Partners and functional leadership to diagnose talent gaps and recommend targeted learning and organizational development interventions.
  • Establish and enhance governance frameworks for organizational changes and headcount management.
