Overview The Manager, Talent Acquisition, serves as a dynamic player‑coach—leading a team of recruiters while actively driving full‑cycle hiring across the Americas. This role is responsible for shaping and executing hiring strategies, developing recruiting talent, and ensuring an exceptional candidate experience at every stage. The ideal leader brings strong people‑management capability, hands‑on recruiting expertise, and a passion for building high‑performing teams aligned with business objectives. This position partners closely with senior TA leadership to implement, optimize, and maintain consistent use of global TA tools, workflows, and standards across all recruitment activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
  • 7+ years years of experience in talent acquisition (required)
  • 2+ years in a direct supervisory role leading TA teams (required)
  • Proven ability to manage and develop recruiting teams while handling individual requisitions.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing strategies, and market trends.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and resolve conflicts professionally, particularly when addressing differing priorities, feedback, or expectations with hiring managers.
  • Strong relationship building skills, with the ability to establish trust, maintain open communication, and foster productive partnerships.
  • Ability to sell – need to tell the AIT story and build candidate engagement
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years experience managing applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies (preferred)
  • 1+ years experience in the logistics or transportation industry (preferred)
  • Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR)-AIRS - (preferred)
  • Diversity Recruiter Certified (preferred)
  • iCIMS Certified ATS Upon Hire (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and support a team of recruiters, providing guidance, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
  • Strategic Hiring Support: Collaborate with Senior TA Manager to implement recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals and workforce planning.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Candidate Experience: Champion a positive, inclusive, and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, quality of hire, and recruiter productivity.
  • Metrics & Reporting: Monitor team performance and recruitment metrics, providing regular updates and insights to leadership.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to legal and company policies, maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
  • Brand Advocacy: Promote AIT Worldwide Logistics as an employer of choice through consistent messaging and engagement with candidates and external partners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
