About The Position

The Manager - System Compensation is responsible for providing operational leadership for the compensation function and programs of Aspirus. This includes planning, developing, and implementing staff, management, and executive revised and new compensation programs in alignment with Aspirus' goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that all compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations. HOURS: Full-Time or 1.0 FTE, 80 hours every 2 weeks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or related field required.
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to base compensation and incentive compensation programs, company policies, and operations.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience in compensation required with a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of all federal, state and local regulations and compliance requirements related to employee/management/executive compensation.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including Excel.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Professional Certification in Human Resources (SHRM-CP or SPHR) and/or certified compensation professional credentials preferred.
