Job Summary Develops and implements category management and supply chain strategies aligned to business unit objectives that benefit Dominion at both the business unit and enterprise level. Directs category and supply chain strategies of the Power Generation business unit as well as Dominion Energy's Project Construction business unit. Specifically, it leads a team of category managers that develop and execute category plans and supplier strategies. Ensures team stays abreast of market trends and conditions that may impact business units operations and costs. Leads key supplier discussions with business unit executives on an annual basis. Leads business and process improvements in internal operations, supplier integration and optimization of business unit satisfaction. Provide guidance on data analytics in support of team's category plans. Provides leadership to execute and develop organizational capabilities in teaming, analysis, and negotiations. Develops and implements metrics to assess supply chain and category management processes. Provide spend analysis and supply planning, project coordination for materials and services, material standardization, and implement enterprise-wide strategic sourcing contracts. Lead in major negotiations. Manage supplier integration. Manages employee development and guidance including providing regular feedback and performing appraisals. Work with business unit leadershipand SCM leadership to ensure all procurement compliance requirements are met. In addition, works with the Dominion Energy Law department and the compliance areas to refine requirements as possible. For this manager position a focus on the development and execution of services and materials in support of Power Generation plants and construction of new power generation facilities consisting of but not limited to natural gas, hydro, nuclear, solar and off-shore wind would be highly beneficial with hands on experience in the utility business sector.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years related experience.
