Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Lead Supply Chain Specialist to join and support the Government Training Execution Team within its Supply Chain Organization in Hazelwood, MO. The position will consist of ensuring on-time delivery of production/spares support of Government Training Programs. The successful candidates will be expected to serve as the primary execution support focal for assigned delivery requirements and support U.S. and Non-U.S Government Military customers. Position Responsibilities: Validating supplier schedules on an ongoing basis Managing high volume of purchase requirements to ensure purchase order placement Shortage mitigation Developing solutions to complex problems with solutions that are consistent with organization objectives Performing analysis on requirements and supplier schedules to accommodate numerous customer requirements Partnering with numerous ancillary functions to ensure customer commitments are met The candidate will serve as a primary focal and external spokesperson for the team on major matters pertaining to the performance and delivery of government training spares and material, and will be required to compile and present performance data to various levels of management Assist in identification and resolution of supply chain management constraints, discrepancies, and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture Assist in monitoring performance metrics, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and on-time delivery of spares contracts Primary systems and tools include SCARS, SMPP, NWP, GOLD, and Microsoft Excel
