About The Position

As a member of Hawks iQ, the Manager, Strategic Event Intelligence will play a key role in uncovering revenue opportunities, optimizing fan experiences, and shaping the strategic direction of event business operations. This position is ideal for a data-driven professional who thrives in a high-impact role and is passionate about using insights to influence key business functions. The Manager, Strategic Event Intelligence will be responsible for delivering key business insights related to consumer behavior, revenue trends, and operational performance. This role will produce critical pre- and post-event reporting, empowering decision-makers with data-driven recommendations on pricing, staffing, inventory, and product offerings. Working closely with the Vice President, Strategic Intelligence, this individual will drive a culture of analytical storytelling-translating complex data into compelling narratives that influence business strategies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-driven decision-making roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to present complex data seamlessly to executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Proven track record operating in a consulting-style capacity-coordinating across multiple stakeholders to drive alignment and action; prior consulting experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required (quantitative, business, or related field); advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Analytics/Data Science) preferred.
  • Expertise in business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Excel.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reports on consumer behavior, revenue, and operational trends across parking, retail, and food & beverage.
  • Own the creation of pre- and post-event analytics, ensuring key business stakeholders receive timely insights to drive decision-making.
  • Identify patterns in customer transactions and fan engagement to enhance revenue opportunities and optimize inventory, pricing, and staffing.
  • Partner with the Vice President, Strategic Intelligence to surface business opportunities and develop data-backed strategies for growth.
  • Leverage business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL) to analyze revenue performance across key operational areas.
  • Develop real-time dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into business performance.
  • Identify pricing trends, consumer spending behaviors, and product preferences to optimize offerings and maximize profitability.
  • Continuously refine forecasting models and revenue projections to support strategic planning.
  • Work cross-functionally with teams in finance, operations, retail, and fan experience to ensure data-driven decision-making is embedded in daily workflows.
  • Present insights in a clear, compelling manner-translating data into strategic recommendations that drive action.
  • Champion a culture of analytics, ensuring stakeholders have access to the right data and tools to make informed decisions.
