About The Position

The purpose of this job is to provide product and services sourcing across all technology related categories. Provide leadership and strategic direction over a team of direct reports supporting technology sourcing. Develop, prioritize, and manage cost savings through productivity and continuous improvement initiatives within area of responsibility. Build consensus and drive alignment amongst key stakeholders in support of procurement initiatives and programs (sourcing, implementation, compliance). Negotiate, implement, and manage long-term strategic contracts to ensure optimum costs and reliable supply and develop a pipeline of qualified potential suppliers capable of meeting the current and future requirements of the business. Benchmark supply alternatives to competitively position best cost solutions. Capable of managing numerous workstream simultaneously. Management of supplier relationships and contracting across multiple regions, acting as subject matter expert for contracts which includes knowledge of market capabilities, economic cost drivers, supplier financials and market competition. Develop and implement procurement processes inclusive of short- and long-term category strategy development and execution of market RFPs. Develop, prioritize, and manage cost savings through productivity and continuous improvement initiatives within area of responsibility. Benchmark supply alternatives to competitively position best cost solutions. Present data and reports to senior leadership Coach and mentor junior associates in procurement fundamentals

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Business or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience
  • Specialized Knowledge
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working in IT procurement
  • Ability to multitask
  • Advanced contract review and analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective problem solving and situation analysis skills
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
