Requirements

Proven experience in sourcing, supply chain, or merchandising (minimum 3 years).
Strong analytical skills and a track record in supplier relationship management.
Expertise in category management, negotiation, and produce industry trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Willingness to travel 10%–30% to visit growers and suppliers.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related area and 3 years’ experience in sourcing OR 5 years’ experience in sourcing, Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain or related areas.
Bilingual in English and one or more language used to transact business in assigned country.
Project Management certification.

Nice To Haves

Experience in the produce industry, sourcing, retail, and cost negotiation.
Experience in retail, manufacturing, or sourcing
Experience working for a retailer, or major brand, importer/agent serving a major retail customer

Responsibilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for produce, managing budgets and driving profitable growth.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers, merchants, and business partners.
Influence key decisions on replenishment, supply chain, assortment, and pricing.
Collaborate with Product Development to design and launch new Private Brand products.
Serve as a category expert, anticipating trends and opportunities in produce sourcing.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
