About The Position

Ivalua is looking for a Manager, Solution Consulting to manage the best Solution Consulting (SC) team on the Ivalua platform in AMER. The Manager will play a principal role in developing excellence among AMER SCs, support our strategy, develop state of the art processes, and ensure excellence in the execution and delivery of our solution to our customers. Maintaining and developing a cohesive, purpose-driven team is essential to the success of the role. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of managing an SC team and some experience in leading technical solution consulting projects. The individual will manage a team responsible for providing technical and solution expertise within our sales cycle and aligning the future of our solution with market requirements..

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience leading, coaching, and mentoring solution consultants within a Software procurement industry or environment.
  • Demonstrable use and knowledge of SaaS Procurement and/or hands-on experience using Procurement platforms.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Experience in driving high performing culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred with a minimum of 12 years of relevant professional experience, OR Master’s degree in relevant field with a minimum of 9 years relevant professional experience, OR Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in a customer-facing role, essentially in the field of software.
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, including comfort with technical concepts and ability to learn new technology applications.
  • Excellent writing skills and an ability to verbally articulate complex concepts and solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of high-achieving SCs; this includes career conversations, annual reviews, development plans, promotions, and hiring.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, R&D and Services peer stakeholders to align team operations with the larger organization.
  • Ability to be a player as well as coach and provide procurement services and consulting to clients while defining best practice.
  • Develop win strategies and presentations for prospects using best practices and industry expertise.
  • Presenting the value of the Ivalua Platform with highly sophisticated and engaging product demonstrations.
  • Supporting the team when they are providing functional responses to RFPs and RFIs and supporting all functional/technical activities required from initial bid response through the entire sales cycle.
  • Recommending and supporting different selling strategies and pre-sales activities, including Proofs of Concept (POCs) to support advanced prospect requirements.
  • Staying current on the solution roadmap (forthcoming improvements) as well as competitive offers to improve your industry knowledge.
