About The Position

Clinical Architecture is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to join our team in the Indianapolis, IN area. The Manager, Software Engineering will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of a highly skilled Engineering team while ensuring our organization's objectives and goals are met. This role is required to be on site at our Carmel, IN Headquarters. Clinical Architecture offers ample flexibility to accommodate a healthy work-life balance. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with software design, coding, and quality principles.
  • Experience leading software development teams and working with other departments responsible for software product development and deployment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a cooperative and demanding environment.
  • C#, WebAPI, Vue.js (or equivalent modern web framework), JavaScript / Typescript, HTML 5, CSS, Entity Framework, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, REST, SQL Server preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing multiple software development team members, including mentorship, personnel reviews, and personnel growth.
  • Lead and coordinate various engineering functions and operations including development of new and existing products.
  • Coordinate with other departments responsible for the definition, debugging and deployment of products, including Project Management, Product Management, DevOps, and Quality Assurance.
  • Review work and projects for technical accuracy.
  • Establish, implement, and maintain administrative policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of new trends, developments, technologies, materials, and best practices; applies this knowledge to continually improve Clinical Architecture’s products and production efficiency.
