About The Position

Zocdoc’s mission of giving power to patients depends on delivering a strong first experience for providers, one that makes it easy to join the platform, set up their organization correctly, and confidently manage access from day one. As the Engineering Manager for the Provider Account & User Management team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping how providers begin and grow their relationship with Zocdoc. Your team builds the foundational systems that power provider sign-up, account structure, user and role management, and access controls. These capabilities are essential to ensuring providers can quickly see value from listing on Zocdoc, securely manage their teams, and stay actively engaged on the platform as their needs evolve. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the evolution of these core signup and user access setup to be secure, flexible, and scalable. You’ll partner closely with Product, Design, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver a unified, intuitive signup and setup experience. Your leadership will directly impact provider activation and retention, operational trust and security, and ultimately enable patients to have seamless, reliable access to care—and to return to Zocdoc for future healthcare needs.

Responsibilities

  • Leading, managing, and growing a high-performing team of full-stack engineers to deliver highly reliable, performant software solutions.
  • Partnering with Product and Design to build out a clear technical product strategy and roadmap.
  • Fostering a strong engineering culture, cross team collaboration and learning.
  • Mentoring and coaching a large team of engineers to maintain a high quality of work, while delivering new features and driving customer impact.
  • Fostering the development of innovative and step change solutions by leveraging GenAI tools and other emerging technologies.
  • Ensuring we are building out the platform’s capabilities with attention to security, scale, performance and uptime.
