It manages the development and delivery of software solutions for internal and external business customers. The role involves creating technical strategies in collaboration with technology and product partners to align with organizational goals. Success is measured by timely delivery, quality of software solutions, and effective team management. The work impacts the organization by enabling efficient technology solutions that support business needs and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of related work experience OR Advanced degree with 3 years of related experience (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or in a computer programming related field. (Required)
  • 4-7 years - Experience in an Analytics and Business Intelligence development environment.
  • Less than 2 years - Experience in managing or supervising a team of 15 developers or more.

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012 suite including SQL Server Relational Database Management System Proven T-SQL and MDX development skills, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) (Required)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a software engineering team to deliver projects on time and within budget through coaching and performance management
  • Drive improvements in development practices, including team structure, processes, tooling, security, and compliance to enhance efficiency
  • Oversee technical vendor relationships to influence product features and ensure alignment with technical requirements
  • Recruit and onboard qualified team members to strengthen team capabilities and support project demands
  • Also responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management as needed
