About The Position
The Manager-Inpatient Social Work is responsible for supervising, under the direction of the Associate Director of Behavioral Health, licensed Social Work inpatient team members & inpatient IRPs and collaborating with professional members of the interdisciplinary Treatment Team. The Manager-Inpatient Social Work also is expected to cover a caseload of patients and provide social work services to patient and/or families who receive inpatient psychiatric treatment. This position prioritizes patient care needs and provides leadership and development of the Psychiatric Inpatient teams.
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work with Independent Ohio License to practice with supervisory status (LISW-S) required
- five years clinical experience applicable to the population preferred
- knowledge of complexity of patient care required prior demonstration of leadership or management skills preferred
- Demonstrated computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and relational databases desired
- Excellent writing and speaking skills required
