About The Position

Working closely with the Director of Slot Operations the Manager Slots Technical will play an important role in the management of the Slot Department. The position is primarily responsible for managing the successful preparation and execution of all slot installs, moves and conversions. Additionally, this position is responsible to order, receive and control all slot machine parts and supplies used in the daily administrative and technical operation of Slot Operations. They are also expected aspects of superior service to both the internal and external guests. The Manager Slots Technical is responsible to comply with, and meet all requirements set forth by the Nevada Gaming Control Board, and the Mandatory Internal Controls of the state of Nevada. In addition, to adhere to all internal policies and procedures set forth by the company, and the Slot Department.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of five years related experience required and two years of experience as a Manager Slots Technical with a hotel/gaming property is preferred.
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Card, and have a valid Nevada Driver’s License.
Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift.
Manual dexterity to work with computer keyboards, machine locks, and small tools to repair minor machine malfunctions.
Ability to use equipment such as a currency counter, scanner, calculator, telephone, keys, hand-held radio and other electronic devices.
Ability to hear radio transmissions and the ability to communicate clearly on the radio.
Must be able to wear an earpiece.
Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.
May be exposed to smoke
Constant contact with executives, department management, employees, and guests.
Prolonged sitting or standing and mobility.
Balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motions
Lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally
Eye/hand coordination.
Use of standard office equipment.
Ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Must be thoroughly familiar with the set-up and programming of all slot video, slot reel, video poker games, player tracking and slot accounting systems.
Demonstrate the ability to coach, develop, counsel and discipline subordinates.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form.
Must have the ability to multi-task while still maintaining a positive attitude.
Must have strong mathematical skills.
Must have strong computer proficiency.
Must have excellent organizational skills.
Must have a thorough understanding of Title 31 requirements, including, but not limited to, all unacceptable currency transactions, logging requirements, MTLs and CTRCs.
Ability to understand and follow all Responsible Gaming Guidelines such as self-limiting requests and ID verification.
Perform other job duties as requested.
