You can learn more about LexisNexis Risk at the link below, https://risk.lexisnexis.com We're seeking a dynamic leader to manage our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) operations team and drive the transformation of our Azure-based cloud operations. This team supports multiple large product portfolios and plays a critical role in our business success. As part of the LexisNexis technology organization, you'll work with cutting-edge tools and emerging technologies to evolve our solutions and deliver meaningful impact across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing SRE or DevOps teams in a cloud-native environment.
  • Deep expertise in Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience with monitoring, alerting, and incident response workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor a team of 10 SREs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and operational excellence.
  • Develop and execute training plans to support career growth and technical advancement.
  • Lead implementation of Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Nomad.
  • Drive automation initiatives using Ansible and other modern tooling.
  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to ensure efficient and secure deployments.
  • Ensure high availability and performance of hosted applications.
  • Implement and maintain observability solutions using Grafana and OpenTelemetry.
  • Establish and refine alerting strategies to proactively address system issues.
  • Ensure alignment with LexisNexis SLAs and Information Security requirements.
  • Manage secrets securely using Vault.
  • Integrate and oversee scanning tools such as Snyk, Wiz, Qualys, and Microsoft Defender.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to maintain audit readiness and security posture.
