The Manager of New Business Sales will be focused on leading a highly motivated team of Account Executives in a way that drives growth, accountability, success and aligns with ZoomInfo's core values across the full suite of products but primarily the core Copilot platform. This highly visible position will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives delivering new revenue against an assigned quota. This manager will be responsible for leading a team of Account Executives (AEs), driving performance through proactive coaching, strategic guidance, and a hands-on leadership approach. The ideal candidate will foster a high-performance culture where AEs are empowered to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities independently. The Account Executives will target SMB companies with fewer than 100 employees often operating in fast-paced, dynamic environments where agility and efficiency are critical to success.

Requirements

  • 5+ years B2B sales experience and 2+ years sales management/leadership experience
  • Experience with business intelligence tools
  • Ability to attract, retain, and motivate exceptional team members
  • Excellent active listening skills with genuine curiosity used to easily collaborate with both prospects and colleagues
  • A general understanding of ZoomInfo offerings
  • A broad knowledge of the sales technology ecosystem including Salesforce.com
  • Ability to communicate with, present to, and influence all levels of an organization

  • Experience selling a GTM solution is a major plus!

Responsibilities

  • Define team objectives to enable achievement of daily, weekly and, quarterly targets
  • Be an active participant in several live prospect calls per week; leading from the front
  • Build and train members of the Account Executive team to identify and close qualified opportunities
  • Coach AE’s through shadowing, role plays, process improvement, and performance reporting in recurring 1:1’s
  • Sales planning and forecast management; manage AE’s to performance metrics
  • Partner with the RevGen marketing team and SDR Managers to develop campaigns that align to the goals of the New Business team
  • Assist with recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new Account Executives
