BakeMark is a manufacturer and distributor with 23 branches conveniently-located across the U.S. Summary: The Sales Manager is responsible for leading and developing the sales team to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships within the bakery and foodservice industry.

Requirements

  • 3–7+ years of sales experience, preferably in foodservice, bakery, or distribution
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales and account management
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including bakeries, restaurants, and foodservice accounts
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive customer acquisition
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to adjust sales strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, procurement, and marketing) to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Analyze sales performance metrics and provide regular reporting to leadership
  • Ensure pricing strategies and margins align with company goals
  • Support territory planning and account management strategies
