About The Position

As Instacart continues its rapid expansion, we are looking to add a Retention SDR Manager to our Brand Partnerships team. The Retention SDR Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Activation SDRs as they develop and grow brand relationships at Instacart. The Retention SDR Manager will coach their team on sales best practices, turning data into insights, and the CPG, advertising and eCommerce landscape, as well as work cross functionally to grow the business. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, can work in a fast-paced environment, and has sales leadership experience in advertising (paid search a plus), CPG, or eCommerce. In this role you will lead, manage and mentor team members/managers on your team who are tasked with activating new clients and optimizing existing clients’ business through the Instacart Ads business. You are skilled at team building as well as proactively changing priorities and tactics for your team in response to strategic changes. The right candidate is experienced in a telesales environment and is adept at using insights as a key differentiator in stories. The right candidate is customer obsessed and metrics-driven, using audience insights and learnings from each contact to make the next more successful.

Responsibilities

  • Measure and track key business and industry trends
  • Improve our sales process, collateral, and prospecting capabilities to make your team more effective and efficient
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and scale communications across larger books of buisness
