About The Position

This role is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on sales leader to drive growth and performance within a high-velocity business development environment. You will lead, coach, and scale a team of sales representatives, translating strategic objectives into daily execution while fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and results. The role balances leadership with operational involvement, ensuring pipeline health, conversion optimization, and revenue achievement. You will collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams, manage escalations, and contribute directly to inbound demand generation. The position offers the chance to shape sales processes, mentor emerging talent, and influence business outcomes in a fast-paced, innovative organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of business development or sales experience, preferably in high-velocity, inside sales environments.
  • Experience selling complex solutions requiring value articulation and customer education.
  • Solid understanding of payments, incentives, or adjacent Fin-Tech ecosystems.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development skills with a bias toward action and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts for teams and customers.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, data-informed, high-volume sales environment.
  • Willingness to travel 15–25% for client meetings, partner engagement, and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales representatives responsible for closing inbound leads efficiently and effectively.
  • Establish clear expectations for activity, pipeline management, conversion metrics, and revenue outcomes aligned with business goals.
  • Provide structured coaching, including call and deal reviews, skill development, and performance feedback.
  • Execute inbound demand strategies, ensuring rapid lead follow-up, disciplined pipeline management, and consistent sales execution.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Legal, and Operations to optimize sales enablement and smooth deal execution.
  • Serve as a working leader when necessary, stepping into deals to model best practices and unblock opportunities.
  • Monitor performance metrics, conversion trends, and team capacity to inform forecasting and resource planning.
