With supervision from the VP of Safety and Security, the Manager of Safety Programs, including, Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), Flight Operational Quality Assurance (FOQA) and Fatigue Programs, is responsible for the day-to-day administration of three ASAPs (Dispatch, Flight and Maintenance), the FOQA and two Fatigue Programs (Pilot and Inflight). These programs demand a high degree of technical knowledge and professionalism while working with other internal stakeholders, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), associated Labor Representatives and other organizations throughout the aviation industry, and support the Corporate Safety Management System (CSMS) and 14 CFR Part 5 (FAA) requirements. Job Functions: Promotes and fosters a safe operating environment. Attendance is considered an essential responsibility. Adherence to all Company policies and procedures. Emergency Response Team Member. Additional duties as assigned.
