The Global Risk & Compliance Organization (GRC) independently oversee the company’s risk-taking and risk management activities, including the comprehensive identification, management, and mitigation of risks within the Company’s risk appetite. GRC ensures the company operates in a safe, sound and fully compliant manner within all applicable regulatory expectations. We create and maintain the overall risk management framework while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance. Role Overview: The New Product Governance & Strategy team within Enterprise Risk Management & Risk Oversight (ERM&RO) leads the governance and risk management of the New Product Governance (NPG) process, ensuring compliance with OCC Bulletin 2017-43. The team owns the New Product Governance Policy, maintains the process flow for product governance risk management, enterprise system of records, and monitors product performance from a risk perspective – ensuring that we are operating within our risk appetite limits.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in risk management, product governance, regulatory compliance, or related functions within financial services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to connect dots and structure complex concepts clearly.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or contributing to large-scale projects with cross-functional involvement.
  • Proficiency in building senior-level presentations (PowerPoint); strong storytelling, visual, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail, excellent judgment, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and execution of the firm’s new product governance framework in alignment with OCC Bulletin 2017-43 and relevant internal risk policy requirements.
  • Lead and enhance processes related to an enterprise-wide risk transformation initiative
  • Develop high-quality deliverables (including but not limited to presentations, process design documents, and reporting materials) for senior leadership, governance committees, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proactively identify and address process gaps, inefficiencies, or emerging risks within the product lifecycle.
  • Partner closely with teams across risk pillars and control management to facilitate end-to-end governance and improve coordination.
  • Operate with agility and responsiveness in a dynamic environment, often managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.
