Employees work where needed, at a job site several days a week and off-site as needed. In this position you can expect to work on site at least 3 days per week at the Wellington Webb Building (201 W. Colfax Ave., Denver, CO 80202) or the Denver Wastewater Building (2000 W. 3rd Ave., Denver, CO 80223). Employees must work within the state of Colorado on their off-site days. Right-of-Way Services is seeking a Manager for its new Permitting & Coordination Section to provide strategic leadership overseeing team performance, operational excellence, and customer-focused service delivery. This role will play a key part in an evolving organizational structure, helping to shape team design, clarify roles and responsibilities, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery. Specifically, as the Manager you will:

Requirements

  • Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in a related field based on a specific position(s).
  • Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of experience at the type and level of functional or operational management, which must have included management of professional individual contributors.
  • Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead organizational improvements by eliminating low-risk or low-value activities and supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to enhance permitting operations, improve customer education, and support major city initiatives and development projects.
  • Support regulatory modernization efforts by contributing to policy updates, process innovation, and a solutions-oriented approach to service delivery.
