About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end revenue cycle operations for a multi-specialty, provider-owned healthcare organization. Direct the day-to-day operations of the revenue cycle across multiple specialties, including scheduling, eligibility verification, charge capture, coding, billing, payment posting, collections and Patient Advocate Center. The manager ensures processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with both clinical and financial goals to support sustainable revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, master’s degree in business or finance related field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; conflict and problem resolution skills
  • Excellent strategic, analytical and process systems thinking skills
  • Demonstrated expertise with teams, excel, Visio, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to understand and articulate the needs of stakeholders and assist them in making the decisions necessary to accomplish their objectives
  • Demonstrated ability in earning and maintaining credibility with leaders across the organization
  • Ability to respectfully and collaboratively challenge team members to perform within designated timelines

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for revenue cycle operations aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee daily functions across all assigned revenue cycle areas.
  • Standardize and implement best practices to ensure compliance, efficiency, and consistency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for revenue enhancement and process optimization.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to support collaboration and service excellence.
  • Stay informed on regulatory and payer policy changes affecting reimbursement and compliance.
  • Conduct financial and operational analyses to support strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle trends, tools, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with leadership, IT, and operational teams to drive automation and workflow improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team.
  • Ensuring timely and professional handling of patient and vendor interactions.
  • Evaluate and improve service delivery, staffing, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and audit findings to senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, OSHA standards, and ethical guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and support organizational values.
  • Comply with the Springfield Clinic incident reporting policy and procedures.
  • Adhere to all OSHA and Springfield Clinic training & accomplishments as required per policy.
  • Provide excellent customer service and adhere to Springfield Clinic's Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards.
