Requirements
- BS or Pharm D College of Pharmacy
- Current Texas Pharmacy license
- 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
- Ability to operate computer terminal for processing prescriptions
- Communication – able to communicate with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties, inform about policies, train, assist with performance appraisals, and approve refunds/expense/returns.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to serve as role model for excellent customer service.
- Stress Tolerance -able to make appropriate decisions and accurately process prescriptions in a high stress environment
- Professional Appearance
- Driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Nice To Haves

- Immunization Certification
- Pharmacy Preceptor Certification
- Experience as pharmacist-in-charge
- HMO and 3rd party managed care experience
Responsibilities
- Manages retail pharmacy operations for designated site.
- Responsible for achievement of customer service, clinical initiative objectives, financial objectives, and regulatory compliance including serving as pharmacist-in-charge; adherence to professional practices and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic (KSC) and Kelsey Pharmacy policies and procedures, and management of all assigned personnel including students
- Manages pharmacy personnel, provision of services, inventory, and overall profitability
- Performs all duties of a registered pharmacist including accurate dispensing and counseling of prescriptions to customers
