About The Position

The Manager: Residential Services plays a crucial role in ensuring that consumers receive high-quality care, support, and opportunities for personal development within residential settings. This position involves overseeing residential programs and services designed specifically for the I/DD community. The Manager: Residential Services is responsible for the development of staff and implementing resolutions to ensure the services provided are meeting agency policies and state regulations. This position works closely with internal staff, as well as external stakeholders to optimize opportunities for growth and to elevate service delivery.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; OR three-five years related experience and/or training; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to partner with various levels of staff and external stakeholders.
• Field and respond to inquiries or complaints, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
• Have a high level of written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information to various levels of employees, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• High energy, positive, "can-do" attitude, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• This position requires a high degree of initiative.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Good computer skills.
• Valid and current driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory experience in a healthcare facility or other regulatory driven program.
• Experience with the I/DD population.
• Successful track record in implementing and auditing programs that reduce wasted resources and increase efficiency.
• Knowledge of the Hutchinson/Reno County community resources and activities for I/DD population.
• Knowledge of the Kansas Department of Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) program and/or Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) Waiver for persons with I/DD.
