Manager, Resident Experience 1
About The Position
Sodexo is seeking our Resident Experience Manager for Keiser University Flagship Campus located in West Palm Beach, FL. Our REM will live on campus, housing is provided for single occupancy, no pets and be responsible for conflict mediation, student conduct and programming and share responsibility for campus-wide training, leading departmental committees and will manage on-call and emergency coverage. This role creates positive, productive and safe campus events and environments so our students can focus on their academic and athletic success. Valid Driver’s License and clear driving background required.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving background
- A high level of integrity, professionalism and leadership
- Experience working with campus and community partners and participating on committees and working groups - key campus partners include Athletics, the Student Association, Student Success Facilitators, Student Services, Health, Counselling and Accessibility Services
- Experience in the creation of annual college budgets, identify and cost estimate residence life activities in collaboration with residence life team and the GM
- Experience managing crisis and emergencies
- Event coordination experience
- Minimum Education Requirement - Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
- Minimum Functional Experience - 1 year
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity StarRez Housing, Transact Cbord Software preferred
- Social media savvy connecting students on and off campus
Responsibilities
- Be the leader of residential housing and resident engagement and student life
- Have experience in Facilities Management
- Manage the on-campus experience for over 2000 students
- Administrate and Facilitate the Residence Code of Conduct
- Be experienced in counseling and providing mental health service
- Achieve a high standard of community living and engagement that facilitates positive and directed student development
- Develop, administer, promote and assess the Residence Life Program
- Develop significant and sustained training experiences for our Community Ambassadors
- Valid Driver’s License and clear driving background
