Primary Purpose Develop and Lead personnel in the management of complex Transmission and Substations (T&S) programs and projects consisting of cross-functional teams involving multiple engineering disciplines (Transmission lines (Overhead and Underground), Substations (Civil and Electrical), Relay & Protection, Communications and SCADA). Responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget of multiple projects and programs. These projects have budgets that will typically range from $25,000 to multi-million dollars. Implement and monitor reliability and resiliency programs to ensure that committed projects are designed and completed on time. Obtain/Support financial approval for programs and projects. Work closely with Senior Managers of various T&S Engineering departments and their teams in developing and implementing strategies for system enhancement. Directly interface and partner with internal departments, including multi-levels of ComEd and Exelon leadership to ensure understanding and justify investments. Assure the focus and attainment of business goals and objectives. Develop and maintain an environment that promotes safety, diversity and inclusion, and high productivity. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.
