Job Summary The Manager, Rehabilitation will assist the Director PM&R in the overall direction, utilization, supervision, hiring, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff, students, and volunteers utilized in inpatient or outpatient PM&R services Job Specific Responsibilities Daily assignments may include but are not limited to: • Participate in all activities related to staff management which include but is not limited to: hiring, training, coaching, performance management and evaluation, employee engagement initiatives, and disciplinary actions up to and including terminations • Direct performance improvement initiatives and physician relations • Develop, implement, and supervise all patient care rehabilitation therapy programs. • Create department schedules, review patient complaints and address concerns. • Ensure laws, policies, and procedures related to rehabilitation are in compliance • All other duties related assigned responsibilities

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy (OT), Physical Therapy (PT) or Speech-Language Therapy (SLP) program
+4 years clinical experience
+2 years of supervisory experience, leading people and/or processes
Texas State license in area of expertise
Ability to exercise independent judgement and make decisions
Ability to instill confidence in patients, with physicians, and in other staff members
Ability to speak intelligently and in a professional manner before others, demonstrate good public relations, demonstrate assertiveness, flexibility and tact.

Responsibilities
