More about our team Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital strives to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of those we serve through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is proud to hold Joint Commission Certification, with specialty Stroke and Brain Injury Certification and programs. Requirements

  • Current state licensure in Therapy (OT,PT,SLP)
  • Current state licensure/certification as OT, PT, or SLP
  • At least one (1) year of management experience in rehabilitative medicine.
  • Current license to practice therapy - active
  • CPR certification required, BCLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Leads rehabilitation services by overseeing patient assessment, treatment planning, scheduling, and productivity standards.
  • Ensures high-quality, evidence-based therapy delivery; collaborates with physicians and families; and maintains departmental compliance with applicable inspections and policies.
  • Perform appropriate assessments on residents referred for therapy; observe/evaluate treatments and recommend changes to the physician as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of rehabilitation modalities and develop teaching plans based on resident learning needs; involve families as appropriate and evaluate learning effectiveness.
  • Assess pain that interferes with participation in rehabilitation and contact the physician for appropriate intervention.
  • Oversee scheduling of treatments and maintain departmental productivity standards.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental inspections and documentation requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
