We are seeking a forward-thinking Strategic QA Partner to lead and evolve our Quality Assurance practice into a proactive, business-aligned capability. This role goes beyond traditional QA management—it's about driving quality as a strategic enabler of business outcomes. The ideal candidate is a self-directed, results-oriented leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and can influence across teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle. This individual will co-own the advancement of the QA program alongside the Application Delivery Chapter Lead, championing innovation in testing practices, optimizing resource utilization (onshore/offshore), and aligning QA efforts with enterprise technology and business strategies.

  • Act as a strategic quality partner to product managers and engineering leads, embedding QA practices throughout the product lifecycle—from ideation to release and iteration.
  • Influence product roadmaps by providing quality insights, risk assessments, and recommendations that support scalable, reliable, and user-centric solutions.
  • Champion a culture of quality across product teams, advocating for testability, automation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product teams to define quality goals, acceptance criteria, and test strategies aligned with customer expectations and business outcomes.
  • Lead the development and execution of test plans that support iterative delivery, including exploratory testing, regression testing, and automation.
  • Ensure QA coverage across feature development, integrations, and platform enhancements, adapting to evolving product priorities.
  • Manage QA operations across multiple product squads, ensuring consistent standards in test management, defect tracking, and release validation.
  • Optimize resource allocation across onshore and offshore QA teams to support agile delivery cycles and product release cadences.
  • Own QA tooling strategy and ensure seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines and product development workflows.
  • Mentor QA engineers embedded in product teams, fostering technical growth and strategic thinking.
  • Lead onboarding and performance management of external QA partners, ensuring alignment with product team goals and delivery timelines.
  • Evaluate and manage QA vendors and tools to support evolving product needs and scalability.
  • Define and deliver product-level quality metrics and dashboards that provide visibility into release readiness, defect trends, and customer impact.
  • Present actionable insights to product leadership, enabling informed decisions on prioritization, risk mitigation, and technical debt.
  • 7+ years’ hands-on experience including quality assurance core concepts, test environment management, automated testing, manual testing, manual methods and version control.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience each with waterfall and Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to influence others, build consensus and negotiate.
  • Ability to isolate issues and clearly formulate recommendations verbally and in writing.
  • Solid presentation skills, written and verbal. Comfortable communicating with all organization levels.
  • Strong critical thinking, data analysis skills and prioritization skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ETL query construction and common data warehouse principles.
  • Familiar with C++/ C#, VB and .NET programming.
  • Knowledge of a range of test management tools. Azure Devops, CA Agile Central (Rally), and SmartBear QAComplete and TestComplete a plus.
  • Performance testing and hardware test experience a plus.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications – MS Project, Excel and Word.
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Salary Range: $91,000 - $122,500
  • Financial offer within the stated range will be based on multiple factors to include but not limited to location, relevant experience/level and skillset.
