About The Position
The Manufacturing Manager, Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing quality systems and food safety programs within a baking manufacturing facility. This role ensures products meet regulatory requirements, company standards, and customer specifications while maintaining operational efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance within food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality systems
- Experience with bakery processes (mixing, proofing, baking, packaging)
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Proficiency in quality management systems and ERP software
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years in a leadership role preferred
- Experience in baking, dough systems, or high-speed food production highly preferred
