The Purchasing Manager is responsible for leading a team that optimizes manufacturing efficiency and the level of inventory (inventory turns). The Purchasing Manager will work closely with corporate Strategic Global Sourcing team to leverage spend in key categories optimize total cost of ownership (TCO). Responsible for implementing effective processes that minimize E&O (New Product Introductions, Phase In/Out, Engineering Changes). This position in also integral to the management of Planning - integral part of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning process. Works with Corporate Forecasting and translating forecasts for the planning and execution of production, inventory, distribution and financial requirements. Responsible for significant step function changes in improvements in customer service levels. Over the 60 plus years of Generac’s history, we’ve been dedicated to energy innovation.
