In this role, you’ll be responsible for achieving inventory turnover goals while improving customer fill rates and ensuring product availability across our distribution network at Imperial Supplies. You’ll play a key leadership role—setting priorities, developing your team, and partnering cross-functionally to optimize purchasing strategies and supply chain performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic, informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 5+ years of purchasing or supply chain experience
  • Prior experience managing and developing a team

Responsibilities

  • Drive achievement of inventory turnover targets while maintaining or improving customer and distribution center fill rates
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Buying team to meet and exceed performance metrics
  • Monitor customer fill rates and backorders, prioritizing and expediting orders to meet customer expectations
  • Provide leadership with visibility into inventory trends, supply chain challenges, and strategic purchasing opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve sales, margins, product availability, and lifecycle management
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing, forecasting, and reporting systems
  • Strengthen supplier relationships and evaluate supplier capabilities through regular engagement, including trade shows and site visits
  • Support special projects and customer-specific purchasing needs
