This position manages all Purchasing and Storeroom functions and activities for the Newport mill in Cayuga, IN. The Manager of Purchasing and Stores must manage sourcing and stores functions at the mill, in conjunction with mill operational and maintenance requirements and Global Sourcing purchasing, policies, and procedures. The position will report to the Newport Mill Manager, with functional responsibility to the Containerboard Procurement Execution Manager. The position is responsible for managing 3-5 Purchasing and Storeroom employees (1-2 direct reports & 2-3 indirect reports). It will also have responsibility for managing and training a Global Sourcing Associate (GSA) and Global Sourcing Intern when assigned to the mill. Position level will vary depending upon experience and education of the successful candidate.
