Manager Public Safety
About The Position
The Manager of Public Safety leads and coordinates assigned operational activities for the Public Safety Department. This position focuses on public safety and security core initiatives and operational capabilities that include\: security operations and the protection of organizational assets, team development, shift scheduling, engagement and communications, service excellence with customers and other external partners, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance. This position requires specialized skills, knowledge and the subject matter expertise related to safety programs, public safety, security and criminal procedure and emergency preparedness.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in related field or related experience
- Three (3) years of general experience in related fields
- Two (2) years of leadership experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Connecticut Guard Card required
Nice To Haves
- Five (5) years of experience in hospital public safety or law enforcement preferred
