About The Position

As a Manager, Promotions & eRebates, you will be a key part of the End User Programming Team at Stanley Black & Decker, working in a hybrid capacity. This role involves taking ownership of the company's inaugural eRebates platform, managing it as an independent business unit. You will collaborate closely with various teams to spearhead promotional initiatives, aiming to maximize sales and profitability through effective mix management, strategic promotional opportunities, and pricing strategies. A core aspect of the role includes establishing metrics to track and evaluate the effectiveness of programs and promotions, recommending necessary changes and improvements. You will be responsible for making informed business decisions that positively impact both top and bottom lines, and conducting in-depth analysis of redemption performance, utilizing data and insights to strategically plan future promotions. Requirements

  • A minimum of three plus (3+) years of Product, Sales and/or Marketing experience with a record of demonstrated achievement.
  • Effective project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, conflict management, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to dive into a challenge, bring in more info if needed, and craft a solution.
  • Experience guiding / leading / informing groups of people.
  • Strong attention to detail, and an ability to reprioritize on the fly.
  • Proficiency with Excel and other tools for reporting.
  • Experience with Salesforce and other databases.

Responsibilities

  • Own our company’s first eRebates platform and manage it as though it were its own business unit.
  • Work closely with multiple teams to lead promotions, maximizing sales and profitability via mix management, promotional opportunities, and pricing.
  • Establish metrics and track program/promotional effectiveness.
  • Recommend changes and improvements as needed.
  • Make sound business decisions to drive top and bottom lines.
  • Dive deep into the analysis of redemption performance, leveraging data and insights (and your own analysis) to plan future promotions.
