Northrop Grumman Mission System (NGMS) is looking for a Program Manager 3 to support the Processing Capabilities Maturation and Deployment (CMAD) Operating Unit (OU) onsite in Linthicum, MD. CMAD is a strategic organization that drives product line investment to provide the most value to the enterprise. The selected candidate will be responsible for engaging with stakeholder programs to understand Processing needs, shaping investments and execution through a centralized product line model, and executing programs to meet schedule and stakeholder requirements. The ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience leading large program efforts through development and integration, working on or with product line teams, and running NCTA programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years, Master’s Degree with 6+ years, or PhD and 3+ years of relevant experience supporting Government proposals, contracts and/or project management.
  • Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as the program manager.
  • Experience with Agile development practices integrated with earned value management.
  • Experience leading a project with a software component.
  • Experience preparing presentations and materials for executive and stakeholder briefings.
  • Experience building business case/proposal for securing funding and scope.
  • Experience recognizing and responding to executive and stakeholder goals and rapidly develop outcomes supporting sector objectives.
  • US Citizenship.
  • Current/Active DOD Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a SAP after starting.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a program manager on programs over $20M.
  • Active SAP clearances.
  • Technical background with embedded software.
  • Knowledge of modes/skills needed for government systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build strategic Processing roadmap for the MS Sector.
  • Interface with stakeholder programs to understand Processing needs and execute scope through a centralized product line organization.
  • Build the business case for continued internal investment in Processing.
  • Lead execution of scope across programs to deliver capabilities on budget and schedule.
  • Present roadmaps, execution, and status to executive leadership.
