About The Position

The Program Management Manager is responsible for planning and overseeing product initiatives from inception to implementation while ensuring necessary functionality and flexibility aligned with the company's long term objectives. They lead a team of Program Managers and Project Managers to collaborate with the Product Areas/Families to orchestrate workflows across teams and complex portfolios in a matrix operating model. They partner with product and platform leads to develop the business case, scope the work, ensure alignment on vision and strategy, and enable business teams and leadership to see progress, remove impediments, and make decisions to deliver the most value to the organization. They identify, manage and escalate risks and customer impacting issues within the day-to-day role, and develop.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 7 Years of Program Management experience
  • At least 1 Year of People Management experience

Nice To Haves

  • Masters / MBA degree
  • At least 10 years of Program Management experience
  • At least 3 years of People Management experience
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned programs and projects have effective resourcing, governance structure, implementation plans and communication so effective decisions can be made towards successful launch of products and/or capabilities.
  • Build community, foster inter-team collaboration and problem solve. Have a direct and positive impact on people and teams; be accountable for the development of others. Mentor and assist more junior team members.
  • Organize and enable collaboration and partnership across cross-functional teams, with internal and external partners, execute on architecture & product driven initiatives. Drive or assist in communications on strategic initiatives to help drive consensus, achieve clarity and solve business problems. Provide oversight & process guidance for activities.
  • Facilitate and drive decisions from key stakeholders around financials, scope, risks and dependencies.
  • Partner with product leads and platform leads to develop the business case and ensure alignment on vision and strategy.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teams/business units where there is no clear organizational ownership yet defined or where products/technology is not yet institutionalized or adopted.
  • Drive or assist research and/or brainstorming sessions; helps promote a culture of innovation within the department. Translate ideas and concepts into an executable projects.
