About The Position

We are expanding our US Federal Product Management team and looking for a Manager, Product Management. This role requires strong leadership, a deep understanding of Product Management within Workday, the ability to collaborate effectively, and the capacity to lead the team through change while consistently meeting commitments. This role will support one or more direct or indirect contracts with the U.S. Federal Government which, due to federal government security requirements, mandates that all Workday personnel working on the contracts be United States citizens (naturalized or native). Our US Federal Product Management team is growing and this is a new Manager, Product Management role to lead a team of PMs focused on expanding Workday functionality to support US Federal agencies business needs. Requirements

  • 3+ years experience leading product management teams, fostering high-performing teams.
  • 7 + Experience in product management, defining, launching, and iterating on impactful SaaS and/or cloud-based enterprise software products.
  • Strong Decision Making skills in managing product features and resolving complex issues
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven ability to foster Building Trust within a product team, creating a collaborative and productive environment.
  • Proven ability to exert Business Influence with ability to articulate complex ideas and drive alignment across product teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Business Mindset and how product strategy contributes to the company's success in the market.
  • Ability to effectively apply Evangelism to communicate product vision and value to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to effectively Manage Ambiguity in product development with changing requirements or priorities.
  • Strong understanding of Product Strategies and the ability to contribute to their development and execution.
  • Experience in Talent Development, coaching and mentoring product team members while developing a high performing team and strong team culture.
  • Proven ability to apply Transformational Leadership principles to inspire and motivate a product team.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Recruiting, Talent Optimization, and/or Learning software for Large Enterprise Organizations.
