Global Merchant & Network Services (GMNS) powers the American Express global payments network, enabling more than $1.7 trillion in annual spend across 170+ markets. The GMNS Product Team is responsible for driving products, capabilities, and partnerships that enable merchants, acquirers, ISVs, and payment facilitators to connect to the American Express Network with speed, scale, and reliability. The Manager, Product Enablement & Execution plays a critical role in helping GMNS Product leadership translate priorities into action. This individual acts as a trusted partner to senior leaders by enabling clear decision-making, driving alignment across teams, and ensuring that priorities are well-defined, well-communicated, and effectively executed. How will you make an impact in this role? Articulate the GMNS Product vision and enable priorities for 2027 and beyond, helping leadership frame the long-term strategy, priorities, and success measures. Craft executive-level PowerPoint presentations and materials that translate complex strategies and analyses into clear narratives. Drive execution and follow‑through on priority initiatives by coordinating across product, technology, analytics, and enterprise partners. Bring structure to ambiguity, anticipating leadership needs and connecting dots across the enterprise. Partner with Analytics teams to leverage data to inform decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, product enablement, corporate strategy, or related roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with executive-level presentation experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and manage multiple priorities.

  • Experience in payments, financial services, or product-led organizations
  • Exposure to operating model design, transformation efforts, or enterprise initiatives
  • Experience partnering closely with senior leadership teams
