We are looking for an amazing Manager, Product Development - Hotel, to fill this role, which is based in our Doral office. The Manager, Product Development – Hotel, will lead the development and evolution of Princess Cruises’ onboard hotel product experience, translating strategic direction into scalable, guest-centric operational enhancements across the fleet. This role is responsible for identifying opportunities to elevate service delivery, public space layout, onboard amenities, and other guest experience touchpoints. Partnering cross-functionally with Hotel Operations, Guest Services, Entertainment, Housekeeping, Onboard Revenue, Marine Operations, and other key stakeholders, the Manager will oversee the product lifecycle from concept development through operational validation, implementation, and post-launch performance optimization. The role requires balancing guest experience innovation with operational feasibility, cost discipline, and brand alignment to ensure initiatives are practical, sustainable, and differentiated in the premium cruise market. Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in product, business management, design, and/or other relevant discipline related to the requirements of the position.  MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years industry-related experience and/or equivalent experience (product, design, etc.) in other adjacent industries.
  • Ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders and subject matter experts in a highly complex and dynamic environment
  • Strong communications, ability to present confidently to senior leadership and cross functionals.
  • Able to synthesize results into concise written findings, create presentations, and communicate the strategic implications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a fast-paced culture.
  • Strong creative, design, and critical thinking skills
  • Proven track record of success in a comparable position with a highly visible, prestigious, highly complex, and forward-thinking organization
  • Must possess knowledge of the hospitality industry, current market trends, and economic factors; preferably within an international organization and accustomed to working with a highly diverse and remote work group
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and listening skills, including the ability to adjust style to successfully implement ideas across the business/ships and effectively interact with external and internal channels.
  • Highly analytical with proven success in problem identification and implementation of timely and cost-effective solutions that meet company objectives. Proven skills in financial analysis, business modeling, and return on investment analysis.
  • Must exemplify the highest standards of honesty, integrity, and discretion.
  • Detail-oriented person who can tackle multiple projects and complex assignments
  • This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of four days in the office per week (Monday – Thursday)

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to enhance service models, public spaces, onboard programming, amenities, and guest journey touchpoints.
  • Leverage guest feedback, operational data, and competitive benchmarking to inform prioritization and concept development.
  • Develop business cases for new or enhanced hotel programs that support guest satisfaction and commercial objectives.
  • Ensure new concepts reinforce brand positioning and support differentiation in the premium cruise market.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics for Hotel initiatives, tracking progress against defined targets.
  • Define scope, timelines, success metrics, and implementation plans for new and enhanced Hotel initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to validate operational feasibility and scalability.
  • Support shipboard pilots, gather feedback, and refine concepts prior to full deployment.
  • Facilitate working sessions and decision forums to resolve trade-offs between guest experience, operational complexity, and cost.
  • Ensure clear communication of product intent, standards, and performance expectations to shipboard leadership.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive accountability and successful delivery.
  • Monitor post-launch performance and drive continuous improvement based on financial and guest metrics.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for hotel product development initiatives across Hotel Operations, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Entertainment, Shore Excursions, Marine Operations, Finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-functional working sessions to align on priorities, resolve trade-offs, and ensure cohesive execution.
  • Clearly document and communicate product intent, standards, and operational requirements to shipboard leadership.
  • Build strong partnerships to drive accountability and consistent delivery across the fleet.
