Together, we’re the next BIG thing in data. Job Description Direct management of the Fremont Wafer manufacturing of all Photo and Metrology Manufacturing. Have overall responsibilities to ensure flawless execution of these areas of the line involving Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing. Establish and drive efficiencies and effectiveness in operation KPIs including but not limited to quality, productivity, cost management, cycle time, turnover, training and strategic projects. Initiate and implement key initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma, Productivity, Quality Controls, Cycle Time Reduction, to meet or exceed KPIs and drive competitive advantage. Understand and align the business unit and corporate strategy, develop and execute local implementation plan. Participate in corporate and business driven initiatives, including Employee Engagement, Suggestion and Performance Management. Position the factory to be able to support corporate business plan, NPI and ramp plan. Partner with related supporting departments such as HR, IT, Finance, Development, and Procurement to review, establish and implement related policies and procedures. Establish a process to continuously review business processes and drive enhancement. Drive ownership of all manufacturing related activities to support the manufacturing operations. Maintain a culture of transparency, accountability, two-way communication, and employee engagement at all levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in engineering or management preferred.
  • Familiarity with Semiconductor / HDD Wafer manufacturing.
  • Minimum 5 years of applied operations management in Semiconductor / HDD Wafer Manufacturing.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Manufacturing Operations.
  • Strong leadership skills, ability to lead people, motivate staff and teams as well as employees working in related departments.
  • Strong interaction skills and ability to communicate well with all support groups.
  • Strong process driven skills and results orientation while exhibiting good technical ability.
  • Apply strategic and systemic thinking process towards solutions to problems and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrates high integrity and uncompromising work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Semiconductor / HDD Wafer Manufacturing will be an advantage.
