About The Position

Move at the speed of breakthrough science by leading the Process Experts who keep our Cell and Gene Therapy operations running flawlessly. You’ll guide a high‑performing team that delivers hands‑on shop‑floor technical support, drives real‑time batch trending to strengthen Manufacturing Success Rate, and leads thorough investigations with Corrective and Preventive Actions to safeguard quality. You’ll collaborate closely with Quality Assurance to ensure timely, compliant deviation closure, mobilize cross‑functional teams on complex issues, and turn insights into measurable operational improvements. You will also steward technology transfer, elevate our training programs (including the Investigator Certification Program), and champion a culture centered on patients and customers across a multi‑product, multi‑shift environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical Technology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or another relevant scientific field.
  • Significant experience (5+ years) in Good Manufacturing Practice manufacturing or Quality roles with direct shop‑floor exposure.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical processes, Good Manufacturing Practice standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Experience leading deviation investigations and applying root‑cause analysis methodologies.
  • Demonstrated people‑leadership capability, including coaching, development, and performance management.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and deliver results in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
  • Experience in project management, Lean methodologies, Operational Excellence, product or process development, or regulatory activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Process Experts team delivering 24/7 shop‑floor operational support.
  • Own staffing, onboarding, training, performance, and succession planning to build a high‑performing organization.
  • Oversee real‑time batch trending and technical guidance to strengthen Manufacturing Success Rate.
  • Partner with Quality Assurance to drive timely, compliant deviation closure with clear metrics and reporting.
  • Lead cross‑functional investigations on critical issues, managing escalations and external communications.
  • Champion process and quality improvements with Manufacturing and Operational Excellence to achieve site business goals.
  • Own Process Expert training and the Investigator Certification Program; ensure audit readiness and act as subject matter expert.
