Manager, Pricing and Promotions (Product Management and Pricing, Promotions, and Trade Terms Team) Position Summary: This position is responsible for management and planning of pricing and promotions for Home Entertainment Products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or consumer electronics PM experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • Advanced Excel skills required (pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
  • Must be highly detail oriented and extremely organized.
  • Good understanding of CE channel distribution.
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written skills required
  • Experience in business analysis including financial analysis
  • Must have strong work ethic and ability to work beyond business hours as needed to meet weekly/monthly deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Plan long term roadmap with Department Head and Business Management team, and other account specific promotions. (considering supply, channel inventory, competitive landscape, financial budget)
  • Review promotion requests (including monthly long term inventory issue list) from the sales team and make recommendations (ensure positive COI and without channel conflicts)
  • Develop new product launch pricing structure and margin negotiation for all accounts.
  • Act/communicate as main point of contact to sales organization for pricing & promotions
  • Promotion margin negotiations for all major accounts
  • Price protection planning and cost simulations
  • MDF management including review requests from accounts and manage monthly/yearly budget
  • Financial Planning: Promo cost simulations and analysis
  • Work with team members on weekly/monthly announcement to sales team on roadmap, price sheet, SPIFF bulletin, etc
  • Responsible for managing the process and timeline with cross-functional teams to ensure all promotional details are communicated with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
