About The Position

Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) was formed in 2021 to support, promote, and enhance Minor League Baseball through professional management, best practices, innovation and investment. Diamond Baseball Holdings (DBH) is seeking a detail-oriented and operations-focused professional to join our growing organization as Manager, POS Systems & SOP Governance. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and auditing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Point of Sale (POS) systems across Food & Beverage and Merchandise operations throughout DBH venues. The ideal candidate brings strong operational discipline, systems knowledge, and a passion for standardization and continuous improvement in a fast-paced, multi-location environment. Position Summary The Manager, POS Systems & SOP Governance serves as the primary owner of POS-related SOPs, ensuring consistent operational standards, system accuracy, compliance, and best practices across all DBH properties. This role partners closely with Food & Beverage, Merchandise, IT, Finance, Business Operations and Club leadership to ensure POS systems and procedures support operational excellence, data integrity, and revenue optimization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, systems, or SOP governance within Food & Beverage, Retail, Hospitality, or venue-based environments.
  • Hands-on experience supporting POS systems; experience with Xenial/Genius and/or Shopify/Snow Commerce strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience writing, implementing, and auditing SOPs across multiple locations or business units.
  • Strong understanding of operational controls, compliance, and process improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and executable SOP documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in sports, entertainment, or large-scale venue operations preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with enterprise POS platforms used in stadium or venue environments.
  • Experience working across multi-state or multi-location operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory, cash management, and revenue reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own the creation, documentation, maintenance, and version control of SOPs for:
  • Food & Beverage: Xenial / Genius
  • Merchandise: Shopify / Snow Commerce
  • Ensure SOPs are clear, current, and consistently applied across all venues.
  • Partner with Operations, IT, Finance, and Club leadership on POS implementations, upgrades, and process improvements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for POS-related workflows, controls, and operational procedures.
  • Develop and execute SOP audit programs to ensure compliance with documented procedures across venues.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with documented procedures, internal controls, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage, Merchandise, Finance, IT, and Club leadership to align SOPs with operational goals.
  • Identify operational risks or inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support training and change management efforts tied to POS systems and procedural updates.
  • Drive standardization and scalability as DBH continues to grow.
