Manage the loan portfolio for the Division ensuring credit quality and risks are accurately assessed. Supervise and provide underwriting guidance to loan officers and credit analysts. Review credit memos underwritten by loan officers and credit analysts. Review the loans in accordance with bank’s credit policies, product guidelines, and banking regulations. Underwrite larger and complex loans. Maintain constant communications to discuss Division’s loan portfolio to determine any potential credit risks with loan officers, relationship manager, portfolio group manager, and credit administration on a regular basis Supervise and provide training/mentoring to lending staff/team and other assistance to the portfolio group manager Investigate and follow-up on significant changes in status of existing customers; meet with customers on a needed basis and outline appropriate bank services and resolve problems as necessary; assist in the organization of the department, coordinating available resources (e.g., staff, materials, etc.) for maximum results; and recommending suitable streamlining and cost reduction and/or income generation approaches for the division Ensure implementation and compliance to meet lending and other applicable banking requirements Comply with the Bank’s security program, including but not limited to: Review and comply with the End-User Computing Agreement Acquire good knowledge on functions and usage of computer systems as related to the assigned job functions. Be current and knowledgeable in industry’s trend in safeguarding the Bank against confidential data leak, identity theft, fraudulent activities, and computer security threats. Reports suspicious activities to manager, Chief Risk Officer or Information Security Officer. Ad-hoc projects/assignments
