About The Position
Manages Facility Utility and Building Support and Distribution Systems
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 10 years’ experience as a HVAC maintenance worker in an institutional or industrial setting with chilled water, heating water and steam system experience.
- Certification or License in HVAC fields (not needed with bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering)
- Critical Thinking and problem solving
- Able to build strategic relationships
- Able to analyze, organize and delegate
- Numerical ability is required to prepare and analyze estimates for new construction, repairs, and maintenance
- Spatial perception is required to read and understand blueprints and specifications of new construction, installation and maintenance of equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years’ experience of maintenance management or as engineer in a health care environment preferred.
