We are seeking a Supply Planning Manager to join our team in Turlock, CA. The role is well-suited for a strategic and detail-oriented planning professional who thrives on turning complex demand signals into efficient production outcomes. In this role, you will play a key part in aligning production, inventory, and customer needs while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations. This position is based on site at the Turlock plant, where you will collaborate regularly with production, quality, and leadership teams, with occasional travel as needed.
Requirements
- Seven years of experience in materials management with at least 2 years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, even when information is incomplete
- Effective communication and negotiation skills across cross functional teams
- Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and demand forecasting practices
- Ability to balance customer needs with operational efficiency and cost considerations
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- A degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with professional certification, considered a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead production planning, scheduling, and inventory control to support customer requirements and business goals
- Build and manage production schedules that maximize efficiency while minimizing cost and disruption
- Monitor capacity and resource constraints to ensure accurate product availability and delivery timelines
- Identify and resolve scheduling challenges, communicating risks and solutions to leadership
- Partner closely with sales, marketing, production, quality, and customer service teams to align priorities
- Oversee forecasting and planning processes, ensuring system data accuracy and integrity
- Support team development by guiding and coaching direct reports to achieve strong performance and growth
